Classic Blues Rock Band needs Rhythm/2nd guitarist.
This is a group of experienced musicians, including the singer/frontman and other members of an established tribute band that has been playing locally since 1992, who are looking for a new challenge.
The project is centered around classic blues rock including Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, Savoy Brown, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Allman Brothers, The Animals, Canned Heat, and others similar artists.
We are looking for a Rhythm/2nd guitarist, with background vocals and/or other instruments played being a plus. We are asking for a top-notch, pro-level musician who is professional, committed, and reliable. We practice weekly on Saturday evenings, just south of Akron, in the Portage Lakes area.
The band is well along at this point, and we would like to get things up and running as quickly as possible. Although the song list is not yet finalized, we need someone who can learn a lot of complex material quickly. We plan on continuing to play the larger venues (Lock 3, Rockin' on the River, Warren Amphitheater, etc.) and nicer clubs in the Northeast Ohio area.
While we obviously do not do this for free, our emphasis is on having fun and making good music, with serious and talented musicians who are team players. We've all been around the block a few times. If interested, I can be contacted at rob.beautyatt.
