My drummer and I are looking for a bassist to help fill in the blanks and help me sing our songs. We need a team player who is willing to take instruction at times. My drummer can follow just about anything I do so I'm looking for a bassist that can keep up with me. I'd prefer at least 2 years experience and the ability to play by ear.

Influences
Growing up I would hear all the bands my dad was in practicing at our house. They played classic rock covers and many originals of various styles. I feel my music is influenced by the bands I grew up hearing:

Lynard Skynard, R.E.M., Midnight Oil, Joe Satriani, Doors, Pink Floyd, Hall & Oates, The Cars, Blondie, Green Day, SMASHING PUMPKINS, NIRVANA, PEARL JAM, Alice in Chains, Tool, Pixies, Modest Mouse.
I probably missed a bunch. I feel that I take a little bit from everything I hear.
Oh yeah, and my drummer can play to anything I do. It's really quite amazing.
