ABOUT

I've been a musician my entire life but have thus far despite opportunities in the past, have only kept it as a hobby, as not to ruin the sacred feeling it gives me. I am not professionally trained and play by ear. Yes my voice is not what it used to be due to abusing it with cigarettes and weekend alcohol. That being said, I'm no Sarah Brightman or mega professional, but I am also very humble and pour my soul out into what I do. I have a little bit of a soulful raspiness but can still rock most high notes. I am most comfortable when I sing without playing, but can also sing and play piano or guitar at the same time when need be. I'm a 35 year old woman with a professional career in commercial art, so I am not some young egocentric primadonna, or wreckless kid looking to party (though I do still enjoy wild moments) - that being said, I am looking for likeminded people in the same boat, who just want to have fun and enjoy for the sake of purely music. I love killin it via open mic nights and karaoke sessions! lol :)

Looking to sing with a band, for fun. Cover bands OK, especially 80s & 90s!

I'm also in the middle of writing an album and looking to expand my horizons in performance. May be open to collaboration with the right chemistry. I have piano and vocal writing skills. Can also work in Cubase & FL Studio, despite being a little shabby due to not using those programs for years.
