ABOUT

I’m Rodrigo, a passionate singer, drummer, and songwriter from Brazil. I moved to Charlotte seven years ago.

I’ve been jamming regularly with two other friends who share my love for rock and blues. We are looking for some fellow musicians in the region to join us and take it to the next level. We need a bass player, a keyboard player, a lead guitar player, and a background singer who can rock with us.

We have a set of songs that we are practicing and going through, such as Jumping Jack Flash, Gimme Shelter, Jealous Again, She Talks to Angels, and more. We are also open to learning new songs and genres, as long as they have soul and groove. If you are interested in joining us, please contact me, and let’s jam together!

I’m also available as a vocalist for other bands that are looking for a singer. I have a versatile voice that can adapt to different styles, ranges, and moods. I can sing in English, and also Portuguese, and I have some experience in recording and performing live.

Some of my favorite artists and bands:

Raul Seixas, Cazuza, Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, CCR, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Deep Purple, Ramones, Green Day, Rancid.

But I grew up also listening and being influenced by lots of regional music from Brazil, where I am from. Things like Samba, Samba Rock, Partido Alto, Reggae, and Lots of Brazilian Rock Artists and Bands.
