My name is Scott and I have been playing the Drums off and on now for about 28 yrs. I recently started playing the Bass Guitar(not sure why)!! Sometimes for fun I lay down drum tracks for a friend of mine using the on line recording program Reaper,He plays just about everything except drums and his daughter sings so they do some covers and also have some originals. I also have accepted some online drumless tracks from people that were looking for a drum track for there orig. or remake..I seem to be doing really well with the bass guitar and reading music, It seems that my time playing is split evenly between the drums and the bass (Who knew that could happen) Im not really concerned with playing out,I just really enjoy playing but if it were to happen great if not thats great too, Im looking for people to jam with get a good sound, have some fun, do covers maybe do some orig. stuff..and see were this goes u never know!! Right now im looking for a Lead,Rhythm Guitarist, and a Keyboard Player to join myself (Drummer) Dave (Bassist) and Elena (Vocals) to play some music. Anybody who would like a list of practice drum songs or practice bass songs to see were im at Contact me at...... rolanddrums4@aol.com Happy Playing ....The two songs listed on this page are of me playing the Drums to Jumpin Jack Flash and also Me playing the Bass to Cruel To Be Kind..
Ive listened to just about everybody, but i mostly like rock, classic rock, alt. rock, and country rock..I think anybody who masters or I should say(plays well) an instrument deserves some credit. I dont think Its all that easy to get it together with a bunch of people the right way..Im a big fan of Kiss,Hendrix, Van Halen,38 Special,The Guess Who,Grand Funk, Zeppelin,Stones,Boston, BTO,Queen,Rem,Three Dog Night,Aerosmith,Nickleback,Goo Goo Dolls,Third Eye Blind, Chilli Peppers, ELO, ZZ Top>..ETC. all that good stuff, but then I also like to play (more recently)KT Tunstall,Sheryl Crow,Shelby Lynne, Pink, Alanis Moressett, Carrie Underwood,Taylor Swift,Heart, Paramore,Van Morrison,Clapton,Neil Young,Collective Soul,Dylan, Radiohead>>...the list goes on....>>Im also open to Orig. stuff..
I have a 12-piece Roland electronic drum kit,w/two cy14-c crash/rides these things are the best to play on..all other pieces of my kit are standard Roland that comes with set..and w/audio/midi hook up(see pics) a 200 watt drum amp,This was a heartbreaker..(I gave up my 22-piece Pearl Export w/Zildjian,Paiste)hand hammered and signature series so I could play anytime day or night and start recording for people all over who need real drum tracks..kinda moving with the times as far as electronics go..I guess... 2-Mackie 110 watt active studio monitors on stands ,Two Alesis active monitors for music playback, A 12 channel mixer w/2-subs, pre amps and fx, and all kinds of other goodies,Another mixer Behringer 24 channel W/4-subs and duel FX program for recording,a tascam US144 audio/midi interface, A Tascam US-1641 audio/midi interface for recording, 2-headphone splitter amps, an Ibanez 4-string bass(GSR200FM), an Acoustic 100 watt bass amp w/ a 15"(this thing rocks) , a Behringer bass v-amp set up audio/midi , a Casio key board audio/midi 2-mic stands,(standard and boom) a Shure mic w/pop screen, a sterling equip. mic, many headphones,a whole bunch of unnecessary cords and connectors of all kinds and a gateway computer to tie it all together for recording..Both Dave and Don have a ridiculous amount of Amps, FX, and P/A Wattage for gig's..
