Ideally, I would like to form a jazz/blues trio or quartet Think "Jimmy Smith" or "Jimmy McGriff) I play Hammond. I have always been the orchestrator, as a keyboard player. Now, I'd like to do something more improvisational and feature the Hammond.
Played professionally, PT entire life. Most recently as band leader (13 years)of .motorcitysoudetroit until immediately post-Covid. Played 40+ times/year most years. Now retired from all the gigging and transitioning to full time residence in Oscoda, MI.
Don't "need" to play out any more, but wouldn't mind getting my stage "fix" once in a while.
Mostly looking for new friends/good musicians in the area to get together musically/socially. I have a Bose PA and easily accessible studio right off my garage.
