Whats up my name's Ryan. I’m 20, I live in Dana Point, and Play guitar (mostly hardcore & metal). I’ve been playing guitar pretty much all my life, but have been really seriously playing for around 2-3 Yrs. I never took lessons but I'm good, and improving fast. I think that’s kind of what contributed to me having my own style of writing music. I pretty much learn how to play new types of guitar riffs just by jamming with people, and by listening to songs and learning how to play them by ear (and basically get them perfect now).

I’ve been looking for people to start a band w/ for a little while but don’t really know kids around here that play, except for ones that would work out if they weren't flakes. I basically had one going with some kids, they were good but they got over it, so if I do start one up again I want to make sure that EVERYONE'S SERIOUS about it like I am. I’m writing the right material, and have the drive to make it to one of the top bands in this genre, I just need some dedicated kids with the talent and same vision as me to make it happen. I’m in J/college right now so I'll be playing weekend shows at first, then when everything starts to pick up I’m definitely willing to take it more seriously and tour.

The style I play/ songs I write are melodic/ hardcore/ thrash with catchy-thought out riffs and breakdowns that take a lot of time and effort to write. The material I’m writing right now is almost too good for a starting band.. The 2 songs I have finished I will almost guarantee to be hits- it would be pretty hard to screw them up.

*First and most important I want to find a singer/front man with a good scream (medium pitched) that can really sing too for diff. parts throughout the songs (sort of medium pitched) with a GOOD IMAGE & stage presence. The singer should have a powerful voice and know when and how the best way is to put their lyrics with each song. *I’m also looking for a lead guitarist with my kind of metalcore style that can make up and play more complex solos & scales. Maybe even have a old-metal/ rock background to mix it up, but can still follow my riffs. *For a drummer- if you're not good at double bass then no thanks. I'm looking for someone that plays my kind of style, but is also diverse, and can play complex beats CLEAN.

Basically the band I’m looking to form won’t just be another garage band playing little shows here and there- it Will be successful, I just need the right people to do it with. *I recorded a little clip of me and my brother just messing around a couple of months ago so you can sort of get an idea of the kind of stuff I play (don’t get the idea that this is what all my music sounds like though, each song has a diff. kind of sound, but the same metalcore style). I have about 6 other songs I’m working on right now, 2 of them are really good and finished. All of it’s made on a little pro tools set up I have in my room so don’t expect anything really professional sounding, but here's the address:
