Hi! My name is Sammy Clark and I have been doing touring all over the midwest for the last 4 years with a group, but wanted to take my dream and talent to NYC so here I am. I'm a Pro Endorsed drummer and have signed my first endorsement in 2003. I been featured in the magazine Drum twice as up coming drummer. I have been playing for 15+years. I'm a laid back guy from oklahoma. I have played and recorded with bands in: Rock,Hip Hop,Punk, and Indie... I'm looking for a high energy band.. I'm not a over player but I'm a performer I feel the music so I want to be able to expres my playing. I'm not looking for a start up project. I'm looking for a group thats ready to book a tour or heavy gigs or has a booking agent. The band I was playing with for the last 4 years had a sponsor that booked us at music fest all over the midwest so I'm use to staying busy and doing showcases... I can play with a click track or not.. whatever you need me to do.. I will learn current album if needed.. I have my own style of playing and looking to be able to be myself in my drumming.. it's what has made my career so far. I just want to be me.. Here is some extra info on me..(No addiction problems, no kids, no wife) I have a social work degree so I'm good at working with people and networking which can be a plus on marketing side of the band.. Since I been here in nyc I co-judged Sam Ash drum off and also set in percussion with ny outlaw legend David Peel and the Lower East Side Band..
