Guitarist or Pianist/Synth Player Wanted for Band!
*We have just started booking shows with our band and are in need of both a guitarist and a piano/synth player.
*Our sound - Original songs that have a new-age rock/pop sound with the structure and grooves of 60s-70s rock/jazz/pop. (covers included)
*Our process- I record the vocal basis of each song on my computer with ideas for musical accompaniment and send it out for each individual member of the
band to write their own part. (guitar part on recording might be included for guitarist to learn, but you can write your own part if it ties with the vocal melody!) Then we gather to practice and Magic thus begins!
*requirements! - must be between the ages of 18 and 28. Must have a schedule available for our practice times (5pm-7pm on weekdays (2 times a week), and about 3 Sundays a month)
and every other weekend of the month off to practice anytime until 7pm)
* guitar tone needed - clean guitar (or acoustic) and light distortion if necessary! Effects are great so bring your own individual tone!
*piano/synth tone need- Any piano tone is fine. Synth-wise we are looking for someone who can emulate big bands instruments very well,
such as Strings, Horns, or any percussive instruments. (bring your own funky settings as well!)
* If you can play either guitar or piano/synth message me (Sean) through craigslist.
