Learn by ear, self-taught. Not a "shredder" in any sense of the word but I know how to pull out some squeals and bends. Although it's not really my style. I don't necessarily have a "studio" but I can and do record my own music using a couple programs on my computer. I don't subscribe to one genra of music. I like anything from Mumford & Sons to Slipknot. I'm not sitting around saying I want to sound a certain way or make a song like this. But I have been told that the music I make sounds like Tool, Korn and Pink Floyd put in a blender. I usually just stumble upon a melody or a groove and build from that. When successful the song tends to write itself.

EQUIPMENT
I have everything I need to perform live and record as a guitarist. Guitars, acoustic, bass, 14 pedal chain with stereo outputs to two 100w half stacks, one Crate and one Marshall. Although I'm curious to know if my setup can stand against a drummer.
