Howdy! Thanks for checking out my profile! As I'm updating this, I've been a Texas transplant for a little over a year now. I come from a classical background and fancy playing very technically challenging music! At this point I'm in four bands, 3 original and one QOTSA tribute, and although that may seem like a lot I'm interested in potentially putting together a 5th project that consists of like-minded young 20-somethings that are looking to ROCK.
Personally I don't care what genre we end up doing but the main thing is that whoever is gonna be in this band is COMMITTED. I know we all have our own things going on but I want us to be tight! Like we'll hang out even outside of rehearsals and writing sessions.
Not to be that guy but I'm putting this down to save us all some time, qualifications you should meet:
-MUST be techincally proficient at your instrument (I already teach enough lessons, I don't need that in my band)
-SHOULD be in your early 20's (Yeah age shouldn't matter but, I'm currently the youngest in all my other bands and most of my bandmates are in their 30's or older and I'd like to have some bandmates that are closer in age that I can relate to)
-MUST be punctual and good at communicating (duh, right?)
-MUST keep a positive attitude (none of this "ugh this song sucks" or elitism crap please)
-SHOULD have some prior experience playing in groups or at least playing gigs.
