I am looking for a bluesy lead guitarist and a drummer to join a band with me and my good friend, Cole.
We have written, gigged, and recorded together; and want to continue doing so after our last band had commitment issues with bandmates (life happens, no harm done)
We want to focus on originals, along throwing in a couple covers for the audience and to help create a well-rounded setlist. We fully intend on recording the stuff we write, as well as gigging as much as possible (and touring if ever possible). We already have songs written and more in the works. If you can contribute to helping write or compose, then we would definitely love to listen and learn from your own ideas
The only prerequisites we have for anyone joining is living near the Effingham county area, having transportation, are driven, and can play your instruments with feel, confidence, and good technique. As is plastered all over this, the guitarist we are looking for would be one the blues-oriented side of styles.
We're pretty laid-back guys, like to play music like it's just hanging out and let decisions be made with horizontal democracy. The only thing we tend to take seriously is being prepared for shows, coming to regular rehearsals, and communicating any concerns
