We are the official rock/funk band of the Shriners for Children medical Center (Pasadena).
We are an 10-piece (singer, keys, bass, drums, 6-piece horn section (trumpets, tenor sax, alto sax, trombone) rock/funk party band looking for a new lead guitarist. Laid back vibe but professional.
We play a wide-range of tunes including those by Chicago; U2; The Commodores; Kool & the Gang; Herbie Hancock; The Meters; Save Ferris; J. Geils Band; Daft Punk; The Beatles; The Rolling Stones; Otis Redding; Black Crowes; Bee Gees; Blues Brothers; Huey Lewis; Tom Jones; Brian Setzer; David Bowie; Marvin Gaye; Rickey Martin; Sergio Mendes; Dick Dale; Madness; Average White Band; Wild cherry; Peter Gabriel; Santana; Neil Diamond; Bruno Mars; Katrina & The Waves; the Eurythmics; and more.
We rehearse every Thursday at 8pm at the Shrine Auditorium in downtown Los Angeles. If interested in playing some good tunes with some laid back (but solid) players, hit us up.
A portion of our gig proceeds goes towards the children's hospital.
