ABOUT

I'm a southern girl, born and bred in Louisiana and raised in Nashville, TN since the age of 10. I've been singing since I could make noises and music is my passion and my happy place. Being from the south, I do have a strong accent and twang, so although I've got a Rock~N~Roll spirit and a hippie soul, I do sing mainly country. I worked and sang at Nashville Palace for several years,
(where Randy Travis, Sylvia and others got thier start). I was blessed to bartend and sing for many of the Grand Old Opry stars and had some good opportunities but ended up having a baby and then a family, so I gave up those dreams for my babies. I wouldn't change it for anything. Now they have grown up and have families of their own, I'm a Mimi, and music is still my "happy place". I moved to Helena in 2015. I've been a nurse for 20 years and spent most of the last year doingsome travel nursing in Oregon.

I haven't had any opportunities to sing, besides karaoke but when I do... I wear it out! Lol. I can, and do sing Rock, Classic Rock, Metal, Alternative (mainly 90s). PASSION is key! It's contagious and I believe if the audience can feel what's in your soul when you sing.. whether that's tears or laughter..that is what music is about, moving us and stirring emotion. And not just in the lyrics or vocals, but making any instrument project the sound of our souls.. man.. nothing like it.
My life has been a wild and crazy ride, (much like many others, since we are musicians, lol.) But It's my therapy and it cleanses the spirit and soul.
So.. if you read this far, my objective for being here:
I saw the site and have been wanting to find some like minded musicians who I can jam and sing with. Gigs would be amazing, so if we jive musically and personally. I'm down to give it a shot and see where the road takes us.
