LEAD VOCALS: Jane's Affliction, The Jane's Addiction Experience.

Colorado-based national touring project with professional international representation and management seeking a vocally accurate Perry Farrell. This is a full production tribute, with bookings pending and awaiting confirmation of vocalist and review of EPK in Hollywood, Los Angeles, San Francisco, AZ, NM, NYC, TX, and more following CO warm-up shows.

This is a 1:1 faithful re-creation of a Jane's Addiction live performance; Most shows include stage props, timed background video, aux instrumentation, etc. Larger or location/event/package specific shows also include dancers, aerialists, live strings and horns, keys, multi, etc. Candidates should be intimately familiar with the entire body of Jane's Addiction's music, art, staging, presentation, mannerisms, banter, etc.

Those interested in the VOCALIST position should first and foremost be able to perform the songs in the key and timbre in which they were originally written and performed, with deadly accuracy and as little deviation from the source material as possible. Candidates should be comfortable working with (and have their own) wireless In-Ear Monitoring rig (wired can be provided for rehearsals), and be comfortable with guide/click track. Also creating or purchasing various wardrobe pieces, props, etc.

Pending gigs will require occasional weekends out of town (Typically Thurs or Fri to Sunday)

REQUIREMENTS:
? Ability to re-create the vocal range, delivery and look of Perry Farrell with spot-on accuracy as well as wardrobe, mannerisms, stage banter, movement, etc.

? Reliable transportation to lockout space in Denver

? Ability to rehearse evenings 2-4x/wk until 90+ min set is locked. 1 - 2x/wk + pre-show rehearsal thereafter.

? An understanding that rehearsals are for tightening up/locking in live set and nailing details. It is the candidate's responsibility to come into rehearsal knowing their material, have lyrics memorized and voice ready to go.

? Flexible schedule.

? Willingness and ability to assist in social media management and campaigns, and contribute to our toolbox, (whatever unique skills you bring to the business, ie: promo video editing, design, fabrication, tracking, technical, etc)

This is an environment of working professional musicians with a passion for the music of Jane's Addiction. Flakes and egos will not be tolerated. We have a full 24/7 Lockout rehearsal space in South Denver, CO, with a full PA and top of the line gear exactly matching that used by Jane's, professional management, an existing extensive network of venues nationwide, and the desire to present the music and theatre of Jane's with perfect accuracy and respect to the source material to audiences everywhere.

STRUCTURE: Once cast, the successful candidate will be signed as an independent contractor under the LLC, and paid as such per event under the Company.

PAY: Rehearsals are not paid, all performances are paid an equal split of the net revenue of each performance minus agency/management percentage, state and federal taxes when and where applicable, and an agreed Band Fund percentage.

AUDITION TIMELINE: Artist submits EPK/video demo, after which the artist will submit a vocals-over-our-track audition, after which an in-person audition will be scheduled, consisting of 4 songs - 2 band choice, 2 candidate's choice. Casting decisions will be made within 48 hours of the last in-person audition.

In the event the candidate is from out of town/state, we will develop a fly-out "confirmation" audition which will be a 60 minute live performance. This performance will be paid.

In the event of an out-of-state hire, the successful candidate will be expected to maintain rehearsal and ready-state between shows. All shows that are fly-in will have airfare and hotel provided for in contract/rider with venue/promoter.

We hope to have the position cast and begin 2-3x/wk rehearsal as soon as hiring decisions are made, then 2 Colorado shows within a month, to gather photos and footage for the reel/one-sheet/EPK/social, and confirm national routing and bookings for when restrictions are lifted and it is safe to do so
