Performed horn band cover music for the past twenty years, mostly in the corporate and private event market before relocating to Northern Florida. Willing to join a working group, church group or to collaborate with folks participating in quality projects. I'm open to performing all styles of music, including original music (for any age group) as I simply enjoy performing. My experience includes dixieland, latin, rock, funk, jazz, ska, classical to original and progressive music.
I enjoy working with anyone from any age group as I've performed with folks from 19-70 years old. I’m a non-smoker or drinker. I would consider joining or starting an existing tribute band to include horns, if there are other interested musicians who are willing to invest into building a leading, high quality two to three-hour show.
Though my main gigging instrument is trombone, I also have extensive experience providing backup vocals. I also perform on Bass Trumpet, Tuba, Baritone horn, as well as electric bass (from my military days) and beginning electric rhythm guitar. I prefer to read charts initially but certainly willing to memorize with the ramp of of material.
Formal training include University of Colorado College of Music. Past commitments included touring with the 101st Airborne (Screaming Eagles) Army Band, Speakeasy Society Orchestra (30's and 40's music) headquartered in Phoenix, AZ, and former principal tubist of the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra in Boulder, Colorado.
