Sol Cypher brings a fresh and new sound to the hip-hop, jazz, funk and R&B game, band keytarist, trombonist and producer Mr. Wendell states that "The sound comes from the roots and the love for old school music and new school sound. Back in the day you had a variety of vibes, which is what we try to bring to the table".
This variety can be heard in each of the musicians of the band. From the funk brought to you by lead guitarist Demarcus, who at one time had the honor of touring with the legendary funk band Heatwave, and bassist and ATL rap legend Woodchuck (formerly Tony MF Rock), former bassist for Virgin recording artist, El Pus and bassist on India Aries’ #1 single, "There's Hope". Then there's the classically trained pianist Tammy Tunes, a former Van Hunt camp member, who brings that R&B and Neo Soul playing style. DJ Most High with an old school mix master DJ style that is as FRESH and ear pleasing as the quality music used when he does his one man shows. Highly talented drummer T Man.
