Music has been a part of life since I was a child in Sri Lanka. My mother played the piano, Ajith played acoustic guitar, Kumar played Sita and Thabla, and Pravin played stand up drums. I sing and dance not momentarily but all the time. I get up at 6am or 5am and start listening to music to start my day. I sing and dance outside for exercise. I am starting to realize that I need a band to hang with and sing with. The world is in need of change - crying out for a whole new way for us to live. Events past years in USA have been horrific, and at times inspirational. We need music to be part of how people live, love, celebrate, and fight for humanity. Don't sing or dance alone - bring it out into the streets and lift spirits.

Influences
Oh boy...where do I start -- from the Blues, Jazz, to Rock and Roll, to classical music, Rhythm and Blues, and world music all of it.
I really enjoy Greg Allman and the Allman brothers, D'angelo, Mac Miller, Paul Simon, Maxwell, Chaka Khan, Anthony Hamilton, PRINCE, Bob Marley, and Michael Jackson. That's the short list.
