Whats up world. My name is Shane. I've been playing guitar for about 3 years. I'm ready to start playing with other people and see what the music scene can really do. I'm self taught and ignorant of the basic chords and music theory. I would like to think I'm skilled enough to pick up new techniques and playing styles fairly quick. I still have a lot of practice a head of me to get where I want to be, which is shredding and soloing as a lead guitarist. I love playing guitar even though I havent been doing it for long. I can play for hours a day, and I do, and not get tired of it. Ive always wanted to get in a band, tour around playing gigs, see new places and people, and just enjoy waking up everyday doing something I love and can look forward to. I'm not a fan of the new style of Metal that kids are listening to now a days. I can't stand Grindcore/Deathcore. I like to come up with grindcore/deathcore riffs just as a joke to make my buddies laugh when I play it. I generally listen to metal bands from the 80s-90s but I like all kinds of metal for the most part. Anything to keep me head banging til the sun goes down and comes back up.
