ABOUT

I want to change the world and have fun while doing it. My strengths are in Guitar and Live Sound. Acoustic, Electric, Bass, Keys, Synth, some percussion and vocals both lead and backing are things that I can bring to the table.
What I want to do is gather the usual components: drummer, bass, guitarists and keys for the base and then add others as required (back-up vocalists, hand percussion, horms since the stages all are small as sh*t, maybe another keys/synth person with a few boards going on.

My best description for this would be taking the past and making it our own while jamming our way forward into new territory. What do I mean by that? We’d cover material that we are into, but not duplicate it. The familiarity of the song to an audience is important, but this band is not for those people. Yes, the song is recognizable and familiar to the crowd, but then in the middle of that familiar song, something new is inserted and either ends or segues back into the first ‘cover’ to end.

Try to give something to those that are in need. Not afraid to play a free show or benefit if the circumstances permit. You should have quality gear and skill, not necessarily educated in music, but a very good understanding of your instrument if not multiple instruments. Be able to play what you feel, know your role and work well with others. Oh sh*t, now this sounds more like a job! Be alright with the fact that someone else will take your place (for that show) if you can not make a scheduled gig. Practice will be determined by how much of it we need. I would expect to make the paid performances our ‘practice’ time, but maybe one to a few times a week to get it together at first.
