Psychedelic Funk band gigging monthly in Saint Louis, possibly moving to bi-monthly as possible. Requesting your time in a part time fashion. One rehearsal per gig. Our shows are based primarily on improvisational free form funk, getting as intense as metal or as mellow as bookstore jazz. We are looking for trumpets, trombones, saxophones, to fill a small brass/woodwind section. And we are looking for any bongo, conga, or other Latin percussion players . And we are looking for piano players. There will be a request to record. A “jam” is a prerequisite to getting picked to make sure we all have chemistry with where we take music. Otherwise, it’s pretty chill.
