ABOUT
Looking to jam with similarly influence and minded folks. I don't want to be a gigging drummer anymore (I'm 45, toured on a label, etc, over it). I'm not against playing out every once in awhile, just not an 'every Saturday' thing or even every other. I can't commit to that. I want to find some buds that like the same kind of music, that wanna get together a night or two (or more?) a week to jam and have a couple beers. Nothing serious, just good old fun. If it leads us to a gig here and there, great. I race dirtbikes on Sundays and could break my arm (or something else) so I can't have anyone depending on me. Let's just rock and enjoy that.
If you know a ton of covers from the 70's, 80's, 90's then you're probably my kind of people.

Influences
Jane's Addiction, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, RHCP, STP, Rush, Pink Floyd, Sublime, The Police, Classic Rock, Alternative, Funk etc.
I sound like Stephen Perkins (Jane's Addiction) mixed with Chad Smith (Chili Peppers), mixed with some Neil Peart, mixed with some Stewart Copeland (The Police). I'm naturally more funk oriented, by also grew up in the 90's so I can play most anything from the Grunge scene, 90's Alt Rock scene from Queensryche to the Toadies and everything in between. Love Zepplin, Hendrix (first big drumming influence was Mitch Mitchell), and most classic rock. Also love 311, Sublime, and the reggae feeling bands. I'm all over the place, but hopefully you can see where my roots are.

Unrehearsed jamming along to Mountain Song by Jane's Addiction. If you know the song, play along to this and you'll enjoy it.

Power of Equality
Power of Equality Track number: 1 Year: 2011 Album: Blood Sugar Sex Magic Genre: Alternative
One of my favorite tracks off the BSSM album by RHCP. Have others from this album recorded, but don't have the space on this site since I've maxed my allocated space. The song ends early for some reason, but it fits space-wise, and hopefully you get the point.
