As far as genre of music, I’m pretty versatile. I feel confident with fusions that include but not limited to jazz, funk, blues, R&B, hip-hop, Neosoul and honestly really just straight soul music.

Influences
As far as influences go, I’ve learned to feel fortunate that I don’t have any influences. I don’t listen to a lot of music, and I feel like it helps me feel and be original. Whenever writing a song, I never think that anything sounds like anything so it never interrupts the process. I feel like I’m discovering melodies for the first time. That’s not saying that I don’t recognize a lot of popular melodies from different time periods of music but I don’t have a lot of daily music listening so it’s never really fresh in my mind. I truly feel like if I had the right team I could write as many songs is I was told to in multiple genres a day.
