I have been in Classic Rock bands, Heavy Metal bands, and original Progressive Rock bands. When I play Classic Rock, I feel it's important to play the songs exactly how people know them. But, when I play original music, I'm more of a Neil Peart, in that I like to hit a lot of different things to make my contribution to the band more "musical", and not just the beat-keeper. Although I have a very large, rack-mounted drum kit, I can easily scale it down, using individual stands for playing small clubs. I've been the lead singer on several classic rock songs, as well as a backing vocalist. I'm looking for musicians to jam with on weekends, and hopefully play some gigs around town.

My musical influences are Genesis, Kansas, Yes, Rush, Dream Theater, Led Zeppelin, Heart, Stone Temple Pilots, Collective Soul, Kamelot and Saga.
EQUIPMENT
Eight-piece DW drum kit with 22 cymbals (not all on the kit at once), and various percussion items. Several Sure microphones and cables, and a full PA system, including a Phonic power amp, with a Peavy mixing board and cabinets.
