ABOUT

I am interested in creating with others or working with an original working band. One that rehearses at least a couple times a week and is always recording. I am a pretty decent singer/vocalist. I play rhythm guitar and keys pretty well. Awesome if I am rehearsing all the time. Please be ready to work and put together a couple of sets quickly. Ok with learning covers but want originals that get people dancing or thinking, or both. I am a lyricist or singer/songwriter. Been doing this for 17 years. Took last 5 years off because of an injury but here the fu*k I am again! I guess its not about the money. LOL. My biological clock is ticking and need to give birth to a few more great moments before my musical uterus drys up.. :-)

Until I find a band to sing and write with, I am available for gigs if you are looking for a keyboard player. Influences

While most people over 30 think the best of music is behind us I do not. I am drawn to new music and new ways of creating it while blending in the usual instruments like guitar and drums. The best way to play a cover is a new way to play it. Story telling sells the most. I love songs that masterfully mix samples and sound bites into songs.. But that's just me. I'm not looking to make just songs I would make.

EQUIPMENT

I've a custom built a Reason 7 that I can add up to 6 keyboard too. It is setup for live and recording sessions. I've got a Carvin 12 channel PA system and really cool neighbors that will let us play up to 11pm on the weekends. A couple acoustic and electric guitars. Any equipment we need I can get.
