ABOUT

Creative Professional with experience in commercial audio/video production, song writing, both music and lyrics. Successfully organized and performed with touring groups. I have recorded for critically acclaimed playwright Javon Johnson/founding member Congo Theatre "Sanctified", and Big Band music director/arranger J.michael "Song for New Orleans" aka "The Jmichael Soundflyte Big Band". Produced several local acts, as well as co-authoring and scoring for National Endowment of the Arts funded original play entitled, "Have Knowledge/Have Life".

Toured military bases worldwide to provide entertainment to soldiers as part of 27-member ensemble chosen from field of 200 competitors. Competition originated at individual bases, graduated to regional, with final competition in Spangdahlem, Germany.

*Assisted technical staff with setting up sound and light equipment for shows.
*Quarterfinalist at the USAF Worldwide Talent Competition in Minot, ND
*Certificate of Completion for the Professional Entertainment Training Seminar Series, which focused on teaching the fine points of writing, composing and performing.

*Opened for recording artist Evelyn "Champagne" King in Trier, Germany. Received positive reviews.
*Contracted and Produced successful football documentary and music video - Bitburg Ger. Air Base
*Organized and performed with Empire, a seven-member group at Fort Polk, LA resulting in a five song exclusive copyright demo.

*Member of eight-person group - featuring R&B, Jazz, Rock, Disco - playing Holiday Inn, College Circuit and Class AA Clubs from 1977 to 1978.
*Played electric piano and provided background vocals.
*Studied choreography under Frank Alston "The Drifters" and received music theory at the "Professional Music Studio" located in Philadelphia under "Calvin Harris".
*Performed on the Jerry Lewis Telethon, Opened for the "Tramps" (Disco Inferno), and performed live on WDAS Radio. * Detailed Resume is available.
