Salem United Methodist Church is currently looking for musicians to play in the Contemporary Worship Service on Sunday mornings. We play a mix of contemporary Christian music and other popular music with Christian themes. We play with a folk, classic rock, Celtic, southern rock style but that style changes depending on the influences of the musicians in the group. We depend on the mix of musicians to create the style of music, so your influences will contribute to the sound.
The only requirements are talent and a love for God. This is not your grandmother's church. We are a laid back, living room style service where you are welcome to kick your shoes off and enjoy a cup of coffee while worshiping and praising the Lord.
We are currently in need of drummers, bass players and guitarist, but would be interested in hearing from anyone with an interest.
