i have been performing on trumpet since the age of 7. I have taught private lessons for 22 years to Middle School and High School students. I encourage my students to seek out performing oppurtunities of all styles. I do have several former students in the performing field now.
I myself have performed groups from concert bands, orchestras, R&B groups, brass quintets and jazz combos.

Influences
My first influence was Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass. I was 7 years old when I first heard them play and have followed Herb Alpert since. I also listen to Maynard Ferguson, Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie and many other trumpet performers.
EQUIPMENT
I have and maintian my own Bb trumpet and mutes. I also have a C trumpet and a Bb/A Piccolo trumpet.
