ABOUT

I’m a singer/songwriter and still learning guitar. I’ve been a lyricist and singer for as long as I can remember. I lost my voice and almost my life in September 2021 and have been on a journey of healing. Due to this vocal trauma from being on a ventilator and having a tracheotomy, I have a newfound and well earned raspy and unique tone. I’ve been compared to Kim Carnes and Patti Smitm, Stevie nicks, Miley Cyrus and Joan Jett.
I think I just sound like me.
Music is my passion and I want to use my voice and poetry to inspire and relate with people.
My writing is deep and my sound is haunting and motherly all at that same time.
I sing best I think a combo of Country/blues/Rock. Like Chris Stapleton, but a woman!
I’m finally taking my power as a healer and musician seriously and I had to almost die and lose my voice to learn to take proper care and seriousness of the impact my voice can make in the world.
I’m a star in the making and I mean that as humbly as possible.
If my dreams don’t come true I’ll be a dreamy and sparkly old lady on my death bed still telling kids to never give up and believing fully in it.

Influences

I love a lot of music.
As far as who has influenced my music the most..
Firstly my father who passed.
He gave to me my talent and my drive.
Then, Pink Floyd,, Stevie Nicks, John Denver, Willie Nelson, Tracy Chapman, Heart, Britney Spears, Sia, Tom Petty, Amy Lee, Kelly Clarkson, and Journey.
There is probably more.
But if you were to put me in a box to have an idea of WHO I am as a writer and performer…probably a combination of all that.
I know, hard to imagine. But intrigued to say the least?
