i am a double bas drummer with years of experiance on stage and in the studio in various styles of playing music. I am looking for like minded musicians or a band to get into that holds no barriers to what the music can become. I don't like "fitting" in to the industry labeled styles of music. i want to be able to freeform our songs and make them our own using our talents as a band to express whatever emotions/feelings we want that particular song to express.

Influences
People ask me who my favorite band or musician is. I always have to state, how can I have one when there are soo many different bands and musicians out there that I have to pick just one? That is how I am with music. If I can find a band or other musicians to transcend the industry "labels" of music styles, i think a band worth the effort of a lifetime could be acheived.
The band would be on the heavy metal side of music BUT encompass other styles and influences as well. i mean Pink Floyds "wish you were" is a great song but its not classified as heavy metal. The sex pistols put on a very energetic show, then take a look at Rush - what a great band. Now throw in some slayer and slipknot - yeah it's a diverse group of bands but take elements from each one and make it your own...that's a project I'd like to either find or make happen.
