The 1920's and 30's were eras of flappers, gangsters, prohibition and traditional jazz. Hello my name is Marc Magellan, I perform with my uncle Marcus Magellan and we play good-time swing, early jazz and traditional roots music in the genre of Pokey Lafarge, Two Man Gentleman band, Woody Pines and Tuba Skinny. Caught somewhere between folk and jazz, influenced by the likes of Al Jolson, Fats Waller, Blues and Gypsy jazz.
