I don't know if I even took this off after our last bassist joined, but, yes, we need another one. Our last guy was great, but wanted to gig quicker than our vocalist could, due to him being down for a couple months. We expect him back in the saddle around June.
The four of us (front man vocalist, guitarist/vocalist, keys/guitarist/vocalist & drummer/vocalist) each have well over 25 years solid experience gigging. We're only interested in gigging once or maybe twice a month if great opportunity. The fit we want for our bassist would be one with solid emotional IQ (balanced ego), solid skills but solid "feel" as a priority talent, a light heart, open mind, dependability and an appreciation of "less is more" (dynamics & note value). Our influences aren't perfectly aligned (whose are?), but we're definitely rock/pop/funk/r&b affected with our song choices. We each have a very loyal following that'll seed our gigs with high energy appreciation if we're close to the level we've played before. We've got 3 solid sets and another we can "get through", but will polish those up to get to the level we want. Always open to new member song ideas.
