ABOUT

My main goal right now is to get an original band together that can be a creative outlet for me as a songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist. I'm pretty flexible when it comes to the exact arrangement, but ideally I'd like a fairly complex sound with layered arrangements (some electronic stuff would be great!), tight vocals, and solid stage presence.

I usually like to jam to some mutually known/learned covers to get a feel for fit (my Influences list is a good start). I have a jam space, and I'm free most evenings--just shoot me a message.

... In general, I'm all over the place when it comes to music. I've spent most of the last 15 years gigging pretty consistently as a singer-songwriter, with my main instrument being acoustic guitar. But in that time I've also gigged with 15+ bands playing various instruments (guitar, drum kit, bass, keyboard), as well as served as songwriter, producer, instructor, recording engineer, manager, booking agent, and all-around utility guy. I have a degree in recording technology, a solid background in music theory, and all (well, most of) the equipment for impromptu jam sessions and concerts.

So, I'm down for just about anything. I tend to get a lot of last-minute fill-in gigs, which suits me just fine. If you need someone for any kind of music-related odd jobs, feel free to hit me up!
