The Dark Shave is based out of Asheville, North Carolina. Critics have classified the band's style as "zoog-rock," a genre which encompasses a vast range of influences from progressive rock to simple pop, soothing classical to blistering metal, and everything worthy in between. The band was founded by Dave and Shark Milan: two brothers with a love of good music and a passion for live performance.
