Hey everyone! My name is Elan and I'm putting together a group called the Islands, a fun folk/pop band with unique instrumentation. I've toured LA in the past and plan on touring with this new group around the west coast.
Currently I am looking for two to three talented musicians. A ukulele player and a percussionist specializing in hand percussion such as cajon, bongos, foot percussion, and tambourine. Singing ability is not required but is a huge huge plus.

The music you will be playing is normally upbeat folk style music. My arrangements tend to use complex chord structures coupled with dense harmonies to create a unique sound. I have been playing and writing music for over 10 years and appreciate all the extra thought process and expertise I can get.
