Writing hits is my primary goal.
You are bound to strike oil if you dig enough holes, so I try to write at least one song a day even if it is a throw away song.
I have played out as a drummer for many years and can sight read percussion, but its hard to play a melody behind a trap set so I do my songwriting on piano and guitar. My guitar playing is not studio quality, so please be solid on the guitar if that is your instument.
