My main instrument is the guitar. I am willing to play either rhythm or lead. I have been playing for around 7 years. I first started playing music around 8 years ago on the french horn and clarinet. I no longer have memory of how to play either of those but learning them made me more diverse in my musical theory knowledge that I extended into my guitar playing. I can also do vocals. I am not a clean vocalist however. I can only do screams, so if your looking for something heavier ill fit right in. I can do lows and mids very well. My lows are fairly similar to Matty Montgomery of For Today and my mids are fairly similar to Ivan Moody of Five Finger Death Punch.

EQUIPMENT
I recently had to get rid of some of my equipment for extra money. I haven't been in a band in a while so I haven't had a need for anything crazy, just enough to play and practice. I have the means to get new equipment if necessary though.
Guitars: Shecter Hellraiser with Emg 81/85 pickups and floyd rose for songs in standard or drop D. Esp LTD Viper with stock ESP pickups and heavy strings for songs from drop C down to B standard or lower. Luna Henna Paradise for acoustic songs.
Amp: Fender superchamp XD. Am willing to get larger amp if i join a serious band. Had to part with my old one.
Pedals: also had to sell most of my pedals. I only have a boss distortion (which i never use because i dont like the tone) and a boss compression pedal.
Recording: I have means to record demos and tracks for ideas i have. I have a high performance computer and a small presonus audiobox. Its not good enough to record an album but it will get the job done for recording demos and song ideas to bring to the band
