ABOUT

Prolific Songwriter-singer, musician, performer & raconteur. I'm an original artist, while occasionally I'll throw in our version of a cover song or two, I am not interested in joining a band who does covers, no offense, that's simply not something I do. I am interested in putting together an alt country, roots blues original band to play out initially in Georgia towns and cities, then we'll see where it's going. My bands have played out extensively 1980's to present in Georgia, Florida & Alabama. Many former bands, a few being: Tuna Safari, PTF, Urban Grind, Sunspots, Electric Cows, Altavilla, T30 & Loud Ass Neighbors and as a solo artist. Te Cool.
I'm a straight shooter who likes to scare people with the truth. I smoke, drink, cuss, fuss and have a dark twisted sense of humor. I am loyal, direct and love creating, performing, recording music and hanging with soulful true musicians who love the power of being in a band of like-minded dudes and gals.

EQUIPMENT

Guitars: 6 electric, 7 acoustic, 3-electric basses and lap steel, dobro, banjo Various brands but mostly Gibsons, Fenders and Gretsch. Various keys & upright actual piano, a lot of percussion and Mapex 5- piece kit. Also Phonic 415 R P.A., JBL's and a few Roland 1680 Recorders. All Nineties digital baby.

*Of Note- While my last few albums have been recorded in studios using Pro Tools, I think the technology runs contrary to live performance. That is, when too many fixes and too much time is spent making everything sound, "perfect". It's the musical kiss of death kids, trust me. Luckily, I work with like- minded engineers or do it at home so we can keep the grease, funk, grit and feel. The little mistakes and nuances they are sucking out of music is actually what gives all music..Soul.
