I'm a composer, guitarist, bassist, and lyricist primarily, looking for some musicians in Cincinnati with similar tastes (see influences) to write, record, and play shows with. I've been in bands here and there for the past 10 years, playing gigs in Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, and Athens, but I'd really like to find THE BAND to develop a catalog and establish a fanbase with.
I've been recording some demos of the general direction I'd like to start out with, but the ideal members will listen and say "nah I think we could do THIS here", I get way too comfy in my own creative bubble, so I'm looking for people that are confident with their instrument, and willing to smash up these demos with their own takes.
Maybe more so than bandmates, I'm looking to make some friends. By all accounts I'm a total dweeb, but not quite neckbeard (although, are they ever self aware?). I work in IT, some of my interests are video games, Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, comedy (I've convinced myself I do stand up having never done a tight 5 in my life), art, and poetry. Some bud and beers is about as much drug use that I'd want to be around, bring your most hideous memes and we can roll on those.

EQUIPMENT
So, I'm not much of a gear head, but I have a Fender Strat with a Tele neck that I got from a custom shop, its treated me well, currently shopping for a nice amp. I have a Squire Jazz Bass, a Fender and an Ibanez acoustic-electric, a few guitar pedals (mostly utilize my Soul Food, a Phaser, Compressor, and Chorus, I swing more towards clean tones) and various recording equipment including a yeti usb mic, Focusrite Scarlet audio interface, and a copy of Ableton Live 10 Pro.
