God, that picture makes my head look huge. My band recently broke up. I've been playing drums for 8 years, bass for about 6. I've never played bass in a band, but I'd be willing to give it a try. I'd like to have a sort of Talking Heads/Clash/Police/Violent Femmes sort of band. Something that rocks, is versatile, and has a funky edge to it. My dream would be to have a band that could be described as "dark funk"; listen to "Gratitude" by the Beastie Boys to see what I mean.

I've been told I remind people of Stewart Copeland when I play drums. I like a lot of different bands, but some of my favorites are Primus, Beastie Boys, White Stripes, Queens of the Stoneage, Violent Femmes, Talking Heads, Beatles, Beck, Bowie, Black Keys, Police, Kings of Leon, Weezer, Black Sabbath, Buddy Holly, and so on. When I was younger, I listened to the Presidents of the United States of America obsessively, which taught me that Punk and Funk can easily go hand in hand.
