Guitarist/ fiddle (etc) player needed. Must have great chops on both. We are a crew of established (and individually performing) players in the triad- four members currently- building a show for high end clubs, showcase situations and public situations. Country/ rock and all that goes in between. This group has a high focus on original and genre related material... the band will start recording and become accessible via social media - including high end promotional material - as soon as the line up is complete. We will also be going through several regional talent agencies to achieve a busy schedule-so travel may be a factor sooner than later...however our current focus is the building of a show savvy product buidling a regional support system...work will be involved.Rehearsal, promotional involvement and your own willingness to invite your circle to get involved is required.
You: Age is not a factor- but knowing your standards is. Strong chops and a great ear is key. This will require a great understanding of improv and flexibility. If you play multiple instruments and you play them with fire, I would love to talk with you.
We are professionals aiming towards a high profile situation. We are not looking to fit every situation for the sake of saying we book alot-so we wont be a cover bar band on friday and an original act on saturday...we will cover both bases but this band and it's agenda- is concentrated on establishing this material and our brand as far as we can. Our emphasis will be on creating a show that is identifiable and exclusive to us as a product. The formula, material and vision is there.
Attitude, gear and professionalism should all go without explaining. We won't parent or monitor pickers - but I consider this situation my life's work and never use it as an oppertunity to "escape" or not work. We're fortunate to be enjoying this process and each other's musicianship- but this is a professional situation and progress is my central focus.
I'm excited to meet new folks and share music that means the world to me.
