I've been playing drums for over 30 years. I started teaching about 4 years ago and love it. Since playing drums, There has been guitars around, mostly for fun. About 12 years ago I started taking lessons "for real" but quickly moved over to a Chapman NS Stick (it's half guitar, half bass, to describe it properly). I mostly do improv on that, and it's a great way for me to set things free. As a drummer, I love to bash things, play subtly, sometimes intricate, and oftentimes straight grooves. I feel more than I read, and I read more than I think.

Divide by Zero (Chapman NS Stick/Bass)
I loaded up some tracks to the Kompoz website and someone took them and put together a great progressive rock song. I think the mix is great, and the musicianship is terrific. I was happy to be a part of this.

Chili Cheese Fries (Chapman NS Stick/Bass)
I was jamming around with this riff and brought in a drum piece. A singer out of Washington State came in and wrote the lyrics and sand - one of the most fun experiences I've had in music - funny, too.
