ABOUT

Tropical Disturbance is a Rock/Reggae outfit based in the Tampa Bay area. The band members are as diverse as their musical backgrounds and work very well together. They are focused on doing two things... Playing good music and putting on an awesome show. The band has many solid originals and along with playing a hand-picked selection of covers/ tributes from well-known artists (i.e. Bob Marley, Sublime, Dirty Heads, Slightly Stoopid, Michael Franti and others) one thing for sure is wherever or whenever Tropical Disturbance plays, it will be almost impossible to stand still.

Barry Ertel- is the Lead Singer/Songwriter/Musician with roots firmly embedded in the beach lifestyle of the beautiful Suncoast of Florida. He has over 25 original songs to his credit,

Chris "Happy" Gilmer- is a shredding "Lead Guitar Player" who transplanted here from a little town in Arkansas. Playing licks that would impress any lead guitar player.

Evan Trainor- The Kid Prodigy out of Panama. Does it all. Primarily a the "Drummer" for T.D. He also sings and composes songs for the band.

Stevie Emery- The quick and nimble "Bass Player" and the newest member of the crew out of the Windy City.

Blowing the house down while watching people dance the whole way through. Music with a flair for the tropics and good vibrations. We have been told we have a little latitude...
