I have been playing bass (electric/upright) for over 20 years. I have a bachelors and masters degree in music performance from Pennsylvania State and University of Colorado respectively. I have extensive backgrounds in studies of classical and jazz in school: out of school I’ve played in symphonic and pit orchestra’s, recorded and performed original music with solo and group projects, performed in a variety of cover groups around the country and traveling the world. I’m an excellent reader of notation and adept at sight reading.

Influences
There are so many to list musically, I couldn’t begin to name them all. If I had to pick a top 10 list of favorite musical artists it would be in no specific order: Radiohead (Thom Yorke/Johnny Greenwood) Jack White, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Taylor Swift, The Killers, Carly Ray Jepsen, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Jimi Hendrix, The Smashing Pumpkins, Dave Mathews Band. As far as bass player go, I’d be remiss to not mention the “greats” like James Jameson, Carlo Kaye, Paul McCartney, Jaco Pastorius and Pino Paladins; but also bassist who have influenced me personally and I try to emulate: Colin Greenwood, Stefan Lessard, John Paul Jones, Noel Redding, Joe Dart and of course Flea

EQUIPMENT
Right now I have a Yamaha BB 735A, a Fender precision, a fretless semi hollow violin bass, and an NS design Wav 4 electric upright bass with a German style Pernambuco bow. Amp-wise I have a fender rumble 100, a small pedalboard consisting of the Fender downtown express multi effects pedal, TC electronic sound gate pedal, Aftershock bass distortion pedal, MXR bass octave deluxe, and the Mooer mod factory modulation pedal.
