I’m 25, been playing guitar for about 12 years, and have been in a few bands -- mostly cover bands. I’m not too picky in the genre of the band I’m looking to join… anything Hard rock, Metal, power metal, melodic metal / death metal, 80’s “hair” metal, alternative, classic rock, etc. (See influences tab)
I am willing and able to play either Rhythm or Lead guitars. I’m not the a-typical arrogant guitarist either. I’m a team player and work well with others.
I'm just looking for a band to join, write good music with, and have a good time playing with. I’m not interested in playing if you’re flaky, immature, and not serious about making good music. I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs. I also have steady transportation, my own gear, and am reliable. I also write some material, so I can contribute to the songwriting process. I have a college degree in classical guitar performance and a minor in music theory. The ideal band I’m looking to join or start would want to write their own songs and maybe do the occasional cover-song. I have played about 20 shows with a band, and have performed over 30 solo guitar gigs.
