ABOUT

I look at bridge of awakening the same way I look at my artwork. From the start it was a image crowds would wait in line to see. Took a while but with every line we put together, the tones we blended, and the points we laid out there was a figure connecting to everything it stood in front of. Opening minds to different kinds of perspectives not often seen.

I think of bridge of awakening as a pathway used to bring people out of the dark and into a more clearer setting of their life journey. Many people are lost based on how they see things saying they know where they're going and have a plan to make it possible, but on the inside they're leaving out the fact they're struggling to get to where they need to be. Making choices they're aware of, but following them blindly. To summarize they're leaning to their own understanding and it's hurting them, making you wonder if they're mentally numb or  just carelessly dumb. Either way they're not getting anywhere in the state they're in, that's one of the reasons why bridge of awakening was made, to be a light to the world. The eye might be in the beholder but why die trying to move forward. Which brings me to a conclusion in 8 words.

It's not enough until it lifts you up.

Influences

Too many to name, personally though for me I'm pretty much open to anything. Like the music I make and listen to let's just say I put the verse in diverse. Not gonna lie however, though I'm open to most, I'd say I'm drawn more towards these names:

Linkin Park
Hollywood Undead
30 Seconds To Mars
Skillet
Bring Me The Horizon
From Ashes To New
The Word Alive
Sleeping With Sirens
Three Days Grace
We Came As Romans
Nickleback
Osatia
Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
Palisades
Breaking Benjamin
Panic at the disco
Queen
Ac/Dc

Members Of Band

So far it's the same number it started from, two. With the exception of another waiting in line to be the third. At our current progression capacity we have the following: A heart warming vocalist experienced in Guitar ( Lead, Rhythm & Bass ), Drums, Keyboard and Technical Instrumental computer wise to edit soundtracks.

Next on the list is yours truly, a openminded vocalist that's more or less the intellectual department of music. I'm learning to freestyle but I make up for the lack of experience by displaying exceptional skill in ghost writing lyrics. I possess capability in playing bass as a instrumental asset for my vocals and I'm also the visionary of the band on a artistic standpoint for visuals of the merch designs.

Lastly there's another guitarist gifted in the same manner as the first vocalist mentioned. In fact he actually displays every bit of skill the other vocalist does except for drums and technical work. Which also implies he's great in vocals, so more or less we have a good set of 3 vocalists that can perform individually in all octaves for guys. The first vocalist however is better known for his highs as a tenor with me on the opposite bass side of the coin.

So all in all with what we have so far a Drummer and another Guitarist is all we need to hit the radio stations as well as impress a few owners to fill us in on gigs. If possible with a Keyboardist and another Bassist to play in my place, after settling the lead rhythm role placements among the guitarists, we can be a solid group of seven doing more than what's considered common. If done well enough we ourselves can be considered more than common.
