Vocalist Vinny heralds the music from the great jazz era. In his opinion the music from the 20s 30s and 40s was the best ever written. And it's now trending. His performances have great respect for every note and unique rhythm. This is the music heard in nameless speakeasies of the 20s and dining rooms of the Queen Mary. He's been fortunate enough to have those venues in his list of experiences
The band performs at clubs and venues throughout Long Beach and the Social area. Their following is an eclectic mix of older and younger audiences alike. A tribute to the wide appeal of the American Songbook and the youth movement supporting this music and the rebirth of this era.
The Jazz Baker Band has been performing since 2015 at both small and grand venues. When they wail they hold no responsibility for the unleashed exuberance that routinely follows.
The core band includes:
Band leader Brandon Baker. A young yet accomplished musician and conductor. Brandon plays, sax, flute, guitar, clarinet and sings.
Guitarist Gabe Ambrosious. Over 20 years of performance in Orange and Los Angeles, Gabriel's guitar playing has been a staple in local Gypsy Jazz, Country, Rock, Ska, and Latin scenes.
And Vinny Picardi, lead vocalist and writer. Vinny has been an active member of the music scene on both coasts.

Come Fly With Me
Come Fly With Me Year: 2019 Album: Live at Elinors Genre: Jazz
Light hearted yes. But it still swings. "Come Fly with Me" is a 1957 popular song composed by Jimmy Van Heusen, with lyrics by Sammy Cahn. "Come Fly with Me" was written for Frank Sinatra, and was the title track of his 1958 album of the same name. The song sets the tone for the rest of the album, describing adventures in exotic locales, in Bombay, Peru and Acapulco Bay respectively.
