Bachelor of Vocal Performance from U of Illinois. Was a semi-professional vocalist/musician in the Chicago area for almost 20 years (also won a very large "chicago idol contest"). Moved to DSM a couple years ago and would like to get back in. Looking to start anything from a piano/vocal duo performing standards to a 6 or 7 piece jazz/blues/jump blues (search Might Blue Kings on be for an example. No, that vocalist is not me, but that's the style I'm looking for.) Not looking to "make it" or live out of a tour van as I have a family, but would like serious players that know their way around their instruments for legit gigs.

This reel focuses more on the old rock stuff I used to do, but I'm looking to do more the jazz now. Just don't have any decent recordings handy at the moment to load up.
