My name is Waites, & I'm a guitarist new to New Orleans. Though I wouldn't call myself a "technical" player (there won't be any complex face-melting solos here), I play with the energy & soul to match any other guitarist. My sound is best described as a gritty, southern Flaming Lips, an acid-tweeked bluesman. I'm beginning to write a bit, and am getting more comfortable singing every day.
I'm mostly looking to jam at this point. If the chemistry works in an informal setting, though, I'm super-stoked about gigging. Nothing big, just for the love of music & the energy that flows between artists. I'm free most nights, and would relish any opportunity to jam with new folks. Let me know!

Gravity's Gone
Gravity's Gone Year: 2009 Genre: Southern Rock
Rough, late-night home recording of the Drive-By Truckers' "Gravity's Gone." Def low quality, but should give you an idea.
