Bass Guitar.

Looking for experienced drummer with backup vocals (full vocals a plus) wanted for 5 piece working female-fronted variety party rock cover band (lead guitar, keys/bass, bass/rhythm guitar, lead singer, drummer). We perform popular rock and pop music from the late 70's, 80', 90's and today and are transitioning into full on party cover tunes - anything that will get people involved whether on the dance floor or in their seats. We are currently working medium sized venues all over the Chicagoland area and have the goal to be working corporate events, casinos, weddings and the like within 6 month's time. We strive to be fun and entertaining and will do what it takes to give people a show they'll be talking about after they leave and will want to see again. We rehearse 1 to 2 times per week in Alsip (as we are adding new material all the time to keep our show fresh) and our goal is to gig out a minimum of 3 to 4 times per month.

Our band philosophy is that all band members contribute to the decisions that are made including songs we perform, how they are performed and where we perform. We believe good chemistry among everyone is vital and we like to have fun and be goofy, while also being productive. We consider our band (and their spouses) a family, and range in age from mid 30's to mid 40's (age is not an issue, only experience). Choosing a new drummer will be a group decision. Anyone with an attitude, a chip on their shoulder, who can't admit their mistakes, who does not work well with others or has a "me" attitude, need not apply. However, we do want someone that will contribute and show initiative to participate and maybe take the lead at times and/or share responsibilities. We want to keep it fun and enjoyable for all.

If ALL of the above fits you, please reply. Please provide us with information such as your length of experience, what bands you have been in, exactly what you are looking for, etc. Please contact us at thebandafterdarkrocks, call 630-854-6552 or visit ./afterdarkrocks
